While designing this collection we were inspired by Japanese design sensibilities and specifically the word, “Shibui”. A Japanese term to describe simplicity, subtlety, and unobtrusiveness. Our hope is meals in these vessel carry more than mere consumption, but rather carry community and conversation. May these pieces encourage you to dine with others and share in the beauty of hospitality.

Each stoneware is handcrafted and hand molded. Please know there are variations as each piece is special and unique to the maker’s hand and process. Please allow 1/4- 1/2” for dimensional tolerance. Stonewares are microwave and dishwasher safe, however for the longevity of the piece we recommend hand washing. Natural markings will occur with fork and knife use, we see this as part of the beauty of these pieces that they are well loved and lived in.
